THE SOMERSET RACEWAY IS OUR NEW TRACK FOR 2008.

The Somerset Raceway is situated just off Junction 22 of the M5 and is within walking distance of the fantastic Somerset Rebels Speedway track.

Our NEW circuit has unprecidented facilities ALL within a few minutes walking distance.

For example there are several campsites (closest is within 4-5 MINS WALK) for those who want to either extend their stay or have the luxury of a serviced pitch.

We have use of the nearby Somerset Rebels Club House - The Oaktree linkwww.oaktreearena.com with bar, restaurant, dance floor / disco and skittles.

and... every Friday night from March there is Speedway with the Somerset Rebels at the Oak Tree Arena (NASA licence holders get a special concessionary rate).

Only 2 miles from Burnham on Sea and 10 miles from Weston Super Mare our track is ideally placed for those wanting to take a break in Somerset at the same time or perhaps a chance for that 'bored' partner to be able to get away from the grass for a little while!

Our race dates for 2008 are as follows:

August 24th - 25th - Start 11am (TBC) both days

(exciting information about the Autograss Grand prix will follow soon.)

September 14th - Start 11am

October 12th - Start 11am

DIRECTIONS: M5 Junction 22  At the roundabout turn left following brown tourist  signs to Speedway Arena. Approx 50 yards past Greenacres campsite (on right) you will see a brown tourist sign showing Speedway Arena to the LEFT. Use Speedway entrance and follow Autograss signs to neigbouring site (to the right of the Arena). Please DO NOT enter Speedway Arena under any circumstances.

SIGNING ON MONEY WILL COLLECTED AT THE GATE ALONG WITH YOUR ENTRY FEE - YOU WILL BE GIVEN A VOUCHER AS PROOF OF PAYMENT TO BRING WHEN YOU SIGN ON AT PITS CONTROL.

£6.50 (concessions £4.00) + £3.50 (signing on fee) = £10 payable at entry

JUNIORS £ FOC = £5.00 (signing on fee) = £5.00 payable at entry

DRIVERS: This year our programe is being sold for £2.00 in aid of club funds. This full colour program includes UPDATED race reports, driver profiles, a detailed guide to the NASA classes, interviews and photos. It is updated for EACH race meeting and is sold in aid of club funds - hence the charge. For EVERY race meeting the program will contain a set of different information so please support us by buying a copy. Thank you!

If you miss the turning keep going and you will find a small roundabout a few hundred yards on where you can turn around!
